Frequently asked questions
What is a capsule cream?
A dual-phase formula: active-loaded capsules suspended in a gel base. You mix a capsule with the gel before applying. The capsule dissolves on contact with skin, delivering concentrated actives in a single step.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The formula is fragrance-free and built around barrier-supportive ingredients: five Ceramides and Squalane, specifically to reduce the risk of reactivity. If you have very reactive skin, do a patch test for 48 hours before full use.
Can I use this with other actives?
Yes. Pigment Reset pairs well with a gentle cleanser, SPF, and a basic moisturiser. It is designed to replace, not add to a multi-product routine. Avoid layering with other high-percentage actives like Retinol or AHAs until you know how your skin responds.
How long before I see results?
Visible fading typically begins at weeks 6 to 8 with consistent daily use. Weeks 1 to 4 you will notice improved hydration and texture. Weeks 8 to 12 is when the change becomes photographable. TXA works at the cellular level; it cannot be rushed.
Why 3% TXA and not higher?
TXA works optimally between 2% and 5%. Above that, the skin barrier takes the impact before the pigment does; causing dryness, redness, and sometimes more pigmentation. 3% is the precise amount that delivers full efficacy without barrier disruption.
Is this safe for Indian skin?
Yes, it was formulated specifically for Indian skin. The squalane-led texture absorbs fully in high humidity rather than sitting on skin. The ceramide complex supports a barrier that faces daily UV, pollution, and heat stress.
Can I use this morning and night?
Yes. Apply morning and night to clean, slightly damp skin. Always follow with SPF in the morning. TXA is working to prevent pigmentation, and unprotected UV exposure will counteract that work.
